New Unit of All India Samata Sainik Dal (Regd.) opened at Phagwara, Distt Kapurthala , Punjab. This Unit is a ‘Women Cell’ of the Dal. This came in to existence with the sincere efforts and cooperation of Madam Leela Baudh. Madam Ranjana Wase (Female Organizer & State Secretary, All India Samata Sainik Dal, Maharashtra) and Shri Ashok Shende (National General Secretary, All India Samata Sainik Dal) specially came from Maharashtra to open the Phagwara Unit (Women Cell) of the Dal in Kapurthal district of Punjab. The Opening Ceremony function was held at Ambedkar Bhawan, Urban Estate, Phagwara.

The great personalities Shri L.R. Balley (Renowned Ambedkarite and Editor Bheem Patrika, Jalandhar), K.C.Sulekh, Dr. Santokh Lal Virdi ‘Advocate’, Mr. S.R. Laddhar I.A.S. and Shri Sohan Sehjal were present in the opening ceremony. Mr. Varinder Kumar (Secretary-North, All India Samata Sainik Dal), Mr. Baldev Raj Bhardwaj, Mrs. Sukhwinder Kaur and Mrs. Banso Devi were also present. Shri Amarjit Lal Sinhmar husband of Smt Leela Baudh made the function success in every respect.
